CONTEXT:
Founded in 2017, Santai has become a cultural cornerstone of the skate community in two locations: Vevey, Switzerland, and Bali, Indonesia. Shortly after closing their shop in Bali, they started looking for a new location. When the location was found, the Santai team contacted us to request an interior design project built around clear materials and geometric volumes.
PROBLEM:
ONDE 57 had only 6 weeks before the building process should have started. Part of the finishes were already installed or ordered and could not be changed.
SOLUTION:
The concept is built around clean geometry with a funky twist on the material selection, allowing us to draw clients’ attention to brand merchendise and give a raw perception of space without making it look too formal.
AS A RESULT OF OUR WORK, THE PROJECT STUDY, CONCEPT CREATION, AND TECHNICAL DRAWINGS WERE FINISHED WITHIN 5 WEEKS, INCLUDING 2 PROJECT REVISIONS. THE PROJECT IS CURRENTLY IN THE CONSTRUCTION STAGE AND WILL BE FINISHED SOON. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK SANTAI TEAM FOR CHOOSING ONDE 57 TO DEVELOP THEIR NEW STORE CONCEPT AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE OPENING.
“YO ALL GOOD, THANKS BRO”
